Overview
This workstation features AMD’s Threadripper PRO processor platform in a large tower chassis for plenty of expansion space. The Threadripper PRO offers a huge number of cores, 8 fast memory channels, and tons of PCI-Express lanes – making it excellent for CPU-based computational workloads. However, because of the higher power draw from this type of CPU the system cannot accommodate more than three high-wattage video cards.
